Saw this on discovery channel its very interesting in how we choose our partners without even knowing we are doing it based on voice shape etc and how and why we are choosing this person many females choose a male based on deepness of voice as the brain sense's higher testosterone levels and more likely to mate with them as you will produce better children. It goes on just have a look at the first 5 or so video's.

it will have some effect but more so at puberty.

It does when I take it. People start asking "do you have a cold", i just chuckle quietly to myself. I love my voice when on test... hate it when i'm off.

Yea i've read this quite a few times that's why i ask if it effects men to, I suppose your voice can only go so deep so guys that have high natty test levels probably or just have a deep voice wouldn't see much if anything but guys with higher voices or lower natty test levels go a bit deeper.

@plexis It's strange that you say your voice goes deeper when on then goes back to it's original when off. Because from what i've read when girls take test their deeper voice change it permanent due to the vocal cords being stretched or something like that.

So it dosen't seem like it's permanent in men?

I dont know about it being permanant but in that documentary they taped several girls counting to 10 in different stages of their menstral cycle and at the point where they were most likely to conceive their voice was rated as the most sexual sounding by the panel of 20 or so males who thought all the girls voices were all different girls.

It's a really good doco and its all based around timing and the basis of how and when and why sexual attraction occurrs.
i really recommend anyone to watch it i certainly have a different view on things now.

I watched all 9 vids that was available on Youtube. Very interesting docu. I'll have to keep a look out for it on Foxtel.

Michael. I thought it was permanent too, but when i came off my voice went back to normal just as gradually as it came. I definitely noticed at week 6 that my voice was deeper. I was singing songs one range down, my normal talking voice was deeper, i actually felt really good.

Happened both cycles, disappointed it went away.

My voice is as high as a 12yr old pre-pubescent girl. ON can confirm this lol. My Dad has a similar voice. Ive also seen in another documentary that shape of airways and inside of mouth has something to do with it. Would makes some sense being me and my dad look very similar. He just twice the size of me lol

I wouldnt say my test levels are low. I can root twice a day and still want more hahaha

Sex drive doesn't always relate to Test levels. I have low test but i have always had great erections and sex drive.

My voice is not high like a girls, but just higher than average. I love it on test tho.

yeah test levels although is the major hormone for sex drive isn't the only hormone to cause sex drive so gauging testosterone levels by sex drive is not a good way. With your high voice based on this study you can assume that during puberty you had low testosterone you have also said you have exisiting gyno which is another indicator of low testosterone to estrogen ratio hence the higher than normal voice......not proof as you said wind pipes etc can cause it but a high probability it is the cause.

Im not sure i understand... What controls sex drive? I thought it was test.... That and being addicted to sex lol

My gyno isnt natural gyno from puberty. It's the result of uneducated Anapolin 50 use when i was 19. Thats what made it develop. I was dosing when i felt like sometimes 150mg a day other times 25mg and days off it and not knowing anything about gyno/nolva/natty test. Learnt the hard way

Sex drive, aka libido, is controlled not only by testosterone, but its relationship with other hormones, the general health of the person, and perhpas most importantly, mental/emotional factors. You can have enough testosterone in your system yet still have a lack of desire if all the pieces aren't in place. Similarly; having low testosterone does not automatically mean low libido.

It's the totality of body chemistry, state of mind, health, stressors, and so on.

Na ive never had a problem with my libido. Only after cycles lol
